Seitai Treatment1

Seitai × Treatment

We are pleased to introduce our new addition to our treatment menu at Beng Teng Spa, Seitai × Treatment (120 minutes/19,800 yen)offered through May 31.

This menu includes Seitai (60 minutes) plus an oil treatment (60 minutes) and is the perfect way to detox and energize your body. Seitai is a form of physical therapy involving soft strokes performed while you’re fully dressed, which reaches deeply into the body, creates better physical balance and pulls out signs of fatigue. After Seitai, fatigue is further carried out of the body with an oil treatment which promotes the proper flow of the circulatory and lymphatic symptoms.

This service is provided by one therapist in a private room. Following treatment, you’re welcome to relax in the Beng Teng Spa members’ lounge with its beautiful ocean view.  As a welcome gift for all guests enjoying this new treatment, we’ll either waive the Beng Teng Spa membership fee or present you with our original herbal tea to take home.

Seitai without the oil treatment can also be enjoyed, rates are as follows: Seitai 60(60 minutes for whole body: 10,260 yen Seitai 40(40 minutes for back): 7,020 yen *Beng Teng Spa annual membership fee will be charged to first-time visitors. *Additional discounts cannot be applied to these plans. *We recommend Shiatsu massages at Yumemi Salon if you prefer massages with stronger strokes.

MERMAID LAGOON: Enoshima Island Spa Visit by UK Blogger Sasha

This spa was the perfect getaway after long trips I had endured around the whole of Japan. After travelling to Hiroshima, Kyoto and Osaka this place really chilled me out. It is great for many reasons and not just one. The all-inclusive unique hot springs, three different pools, various themed massage/relaxation rooms is what makes this place worth the money and time for the ideal weekend getaway. It is a fantastic tourist destination and the person who wants a break from Tokyo city life. With only an hour and a half away from Tokyo, Shinjuku, it’s very accessible and practical choice which overlooks views to the famous Mount Fuji on a clear day. My favourite pool was the infinity pool, which looks over the sea and the mountains in the back, a rare view indeed. Sometimes it’s just lovely to think and take in your environment and thoughts in a tranquil environment such as this. The pools in the cave were very different and distinctive; I have not seen anything like it anywhere. At night, it really is a spectacular experience that you will take away with you.

The hot springs were definitely something new to a westerner like me, the lovely staff who escorted me around had told me most westerners where apprehensive about entering the hot springs as you must be naked but for the Japanese women this is a very normal. They have a very open, ‘non-phased’ attitude which I admired. I have never been naked with other women before or any kind of environment for that matter and it was a liberating experience. No woman looked at another in a weird, unusual way and was completely normal setting. I was kind of overly joyed when a kind Japanese lady had told me I was beautiful, considering she had seen me naked it was definitely a kind sentiment. I always take a compliment from a woman way more seriously, guess my dieting paid off. The massage was one of the best I have received, the room was filled with lotus flowers and the luxury finish of the rooms were exquisite.

Cave Pool Area with Calming Ocean Sounds

Cave pools give a sense of privacy and lead you to a deep relaxation.

Our cave pool is tucked just above ocean level for the pristine views of Mt. Fuji. They are perfectly clean and quite to relax. The cave pool area and waterfall are based on the ancient Enoshima caves and tunnels – rumored to connect under-ocean to Mt. Fuji.

In the Taki-sen (waterfall pool), you can enjoy pouring beating hot water on the head, the shoulder and the scruff of the neck by exposing the upper half of the body in the pool. There is an area where you can lay yourself down in the pool – calming ocean sounds will lead you into a deep relaxation!

Swimsuits are required here, and are available to rent at check-in.  There is no reservation required for entrance and the regular entrance rate is 2,742 yen.  We are looking foward to welcoming you!
