Winter illumination on Enoshima island started on November 26th this year. Lights around the Enoshima Sea Candle will be up until February 19. Don’t miss this romantic and lovely event. It is chosen as one of the three major illumination spots in the Kanto area by the Night View Summit in 2012 and also one of the night view inheritance of Japan in 2013, which evaluate night views throughout Japan.
Over 40,000 will light up the Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden on top of the island near the lighthouse every night from 17:00. It would be lovely to take a walk up to the garden and explore the island.
